Horsham Lawn dominated the opening round of the 17 and under boys A Grade proceedings, with its Yellow side defeating Central Park five sets and 45 games to three sets and 29 games.
Horsham Lawn Green also tasted victory with a 5-35 to 3-31 win over Laharum.
It was all Central Park in the 17 and under girls A Grade competition, with the club's Purple and Gold sides both easily over-running its opponents.
Central Park Purple won 7-46 over Haven Yellow 1-22, and Central Park Gold, 7-47, were far too good for Horsham Lawn White, 1-21.
Central Park's Barb Crough said it was a great start to the season for her juniors in both boys and girls.
"Ethan McRae, Hugh and Angus Gove and Liam Atherton were all impressive," she said.
"Our 17 and under girls defeated the reigning premier's Haven, which was a great start for them.
"Everything is running quite smoothly for the club."
In the 17 and under boys B Grade competition, it was Laharum which defeated Haven Red 7-47 to 1-16 and Horsham Lawn, 5-40, beat Central Park 3-30.
Central Park edged out Quantong in the 17 and under girls B Grade competition and Haven Orange beat co-tennants Haven Black.
Haven and Laharum were both easy victors in the 14 and under boys A Grade matches, defeating Horsham Lawn and Central Park respectively.
The winners in the 14 and under boys B Grade matches were Central Park, Natimuk and Quantong. The 14 and under girls A Grade competition saw Central Park White comfortably beat Central Park Pink.
Quantong was victorious over Horsham Lawn, and Central Park Orange didn't drop a set against Haven.
Central Park, Haven Green, Horsham Lawn and Haven Purple started their 14 and under girls B Grade season off with a win.
The 12 and under boys A Grade competition had a couple of close encounters with Central Park Red, beating Horsham Lawn, while Central Park Black lost to Quantong.
Natimuk and Haven Green won in the 12 and under boys B Grade and Haven did the double in 12 and under C Grade, with both Blue and Orange getting over the line.
