"We always have a good show and it has become a tradition for people to come along for the evening entertainment and spectacular fireworks," she said.
"We get lots of people travelling from Kaniva after school."
Mrs Grosser said a grand parade was a highlight of the day, culminating in a group photograph in the middle of the show arena.
"We have a cherry picker organised to take our photo for the second year running," she said.
Women's committee president Marge Krelle said the show had received record entries.
"We've had lovely cut flowers, pot plants, lots of jams, jellies and preserves," she said.
"The children's section especially was terrific.
"I don't know how many bowls of lavender there were I'm just glad I didn't have to judge them."
Mrs Krelle said for the first time this year, there was open judging in the novice cookery section.
Stewards were able to give tips and hints on how entrants could improve their show cooking.
"It went for about 20 minutes and was very successful," she said.
"I don't know how many people were there, but I think it is something we will definitely run again next year."
