The $50,000 Miller Contractors Plant Hire Horsham Cup has a quality field with the Darryl Dodson-trained Texan Warney leading the pack.
Horsham trainer Greg Baker will have as many as five horses in the eight-race program, including six-year-old gelding Musee Market in the main event.
Baker said he was looking forward to having another crack at cup glory at Horsham Race Course.
"I've got four, possibly five horses involved on the day so hopefully I can get a bit of luck and pick up a win," he said.
"We've got a few horses that we think will fire so hopefully it comes through."
Horsham and District Racing Club vice-president Josh Mackay said it was shaping up to be another fantastic cup day.
"This year's cup is expected to be one of our strongest in years with some high class horses among the field," Mr Mackay said.
"Texan Warney will be a crowd favourite to make it three in a row."
Another horse to watch will be eight-year-old bay and former English Group 2 winner Doctor Fremantle, trained by Sam Pritchard-Gordon.
Committee member Anthony Schache was expecting a big crowd.
"With fine weather predicted for the big day, we are expecting a bumper crowd," Mr Schache said.
"Reserved dining is a hit by the number of bookings we have received already."
