FORMER Minyip-Murtoa Burras coach Jaye Macumber has been nominated for Victorian Senior Coach of the Year.

Macumber guided the Burras to the minor premiership and was awarded the Wimmera-Mallee coaching association coach of the year award on the night of the Toohey Medal count.
His side was beaten by just two points in the grand final by the Horsham Saints.
Macumber announced after the season that he would not be coaching in 2017 and Damian Cameron would take the reins.
