Golfers competed in competitions across three days but the big event kicked off on Friday as the rain came pouring down at Horsham Golf Club.
The trophy recognises the achievements of and contribution to ladies golf by Nell Smithett.
Smithett was a well known member of Horsham Golf Club serving as Lady Captain for four years.
She was also a club champion in 1964, 65, 66, and 67 and a Wimmera Champion in 1965.
Hamilton’s Sally Warbuton, Tania Cullinane, Libby Lewis and Sue Walter were crowned champions with a score of 231.
The Warrnambool team were named runner-up with a score of 233, narrowly missing out on a back-to-back win, after claiming the trophy in 2015.
Lorraine Melville, Liz Robertson and Lorraine Gladigua were the Horsham Blue Wren Trophy winners with a score of 248.
