Characters Poppy and Branch will be on stage on March 8 at 10am and noon.
Field days manager Murray Wilson said the fun-filled show would include dancing and singing.
“There will also be a chance to see the Trolls characters with meet and greet sessions as well,” he said.
Returning for another year to the field days will be children’s entertainment group The Mik Maks.
The Mik Maks will perform on Wednesday at 11am and 1pm in the Field Days Auditorium
“Children will have the chance to meet Bruce the Hairy Crocodile and the amazing Drums the Panda straight after each show,” Mr Wilson said.
The Mik Maks are all brothers from a farming background.
Mr Wilson said the Wednesday of the field days was always the traditional family day.
“Due to the success last year of live children’s entertainment, we have made this a key feature of the field days this year,” he said.
“We will have more entertainment especially for families with young children.
“We are hoping to attract new visitors and as a result, look towards embracing the next generation of field days visitors.”
Mr Wilson said there were many families in the region who didn’t have a direct association with farming and agriculture.
“We want to ensure there is something on offer and of interest for anyone who wants to visit this event,” he said.
“Along with the live family shows, the field days offer free mini train rides, a children’s animal farm and a large marquee co-ordinated by Horsham’s Green Park Casuarina Kindergarten, which is full of fun activities.”
Mr Wilson said the Wimmera Machinery Field Days was a major event that built, developed, fostered and grew the region’s agricultural industry.
“It is important that we can offer the opportunity for everyone to visit, experience, enjoy and take something back with them from our event,” he said.
The field days run from March 7 to 9.
