The hotel will host its Keg for a Cure fundraiser on March 24 towards the cost of her Lupus treatment.
Mrs Tyler told the Mail-Times of her ordeal with systemic lupus erythematosus, or Lupus sle, which leaves her bed-bound and unable to fully enjoy her children.
Mrs Tyler wants to undertake a controversial treatment only available in the Gold Coast, but with six children between her and her husband Jeremy, they can’t afford to cover the cost.
The Exchange will tap a keg for Mikala, with patrons paying what they want for a pot and every dollar going towards her treatment.
