The group have organised for a screening of the new Beauty and the Beast movie at Horsham Centre Cinemas.
Co-ordinator Allison Roberts said this was the first of many planned fundraisers for the foundation this year.
“All the reviews for this movie have been really positive,” she said.
“The event is open to everyone. It’s going to be a great social night out.”
The movie is a new take on Disney's animated classic, with an all-star cast including Emma Watson and Dan Stevens.
The screening will include drinks and nibbles from 7pm at Horsham’s Legacy House.
Mrs Roberts said the foundation tried to have a few movie nights every year.
She said tickets were $30 and were available from Horsham Plaza centre management office.
She said money raised by the foundation was never spent, but invested and the interest was used for Wimmera Health Care Group projects in Horsham and Dimboola.
The foundation has committed at least $250,000 over five years towards the redevelopment of the cancer treatment centre at the Wimmera Base Hospital.
