The event will be at Balmoral Recreation Reserve Indoor Stadium, starting at 7:30pm.
Tickets are $80 a head which includes live music, canapes all night and first drink. The event is for people aged 18 and over.
Balmoral Raise the Roof organising committee spokesperson Dana Smith said it would be a fantastic evening.
“We decided on a semi-formal type evening because everyone loves the chance to dress up, eat some great food, catch up with friends and dance to live music while helping the rec reserve,” she said.
Mrs Smith said the reserve was an important hub for our community and the committee hoped to raise $20,000.
Acousticus Stomp and The Masons will play at the event. Tickets are available via balmoralraisetheroof@gmail.com or from the Balmoral National Australia Bank.
Balmoral Recreation Reserve fundraising committee chairman Michael Leeming said the Balmoral community had been overwhelmingly supportive of the Balmoral Community Complex project to date.
“The Recreational Reserve is run wholly by volunteers and we have been fundraising now for 12 months and raised $263,000,” he said.
“We now hope that everyone both inside and outside of the Balmoral district will continue to show their support and provide the final impetus to successfully raise the funds needed to complete this important project.”
