Padthaway v Kaniva-Leeor
KANIVA-LEEOR United could not quite keep up with Padthaway in its first round match.
The side was never really blown-out of the contest but Padthaway controlled the game from start to finish to win 17.7 (109) to 10.5 (65).
Variety in attack made it hard for Kaniva-Leeor players to shut down their opposition as three players chipped in with three goals each.
Jonty Brown was named as Kaniva-Leeor’s best player in the game.
