As part of the festival from June 2 to 11, a postcard mural will be placed on the brick wall along Robert’s Avenue, Horsham.
Nexus Horsham, Grampians Community Health and Horsham Rural City Council will encourage the community to suggest images that symbolise Horsham and the Wimmera.
Festival project manager Sarah Natali said the mural would take the form of a retro-style postcard with each large letter filled with an image or design.
”In each letter will be an image that defines Horsham or the Wimmera - be that an image of the TG tower or someone rock climbing or waterskiing,” she said.
The competition for ideas is due to open this week.
The mural will be installed the first week of June by Melbourne based Street artist Dan Wenn from 90degrees.
