Tickets for the show’s nine performances have been quickly snatched up, with every show now sold out.
Producer Simon Dandy said it had been a great reaction. “It can’t get much better than that,” he said.
Mr Dandy said ticket sales showed people in the community supported the arts council.
“Annie is a good family show,” he said.
The musical has ran for four performances so far.
“All the shows have been excellent,” Mr Dandy said.
“A lot of the cast are on stage for the very first time, so performing to four sold out shows is fantastic.
“That doesn’t happen very often.” Mr Dandy said a lot of hard work had gone into getting the production to the stage.
“Everyone was a bit tired in the lead up to opening night but every show is a new show, with a new audience, so you have to put in the hard work,” he said.
“But it makes it easier to get up there each time when you are performing to a full house and getting standing ovations.
“It’s a great reward for everyone involved.”
The final five shows will be from Thursday to Sunday.
