Burras coach Damian Cameron said his side had prepared in the right manner for a big month of football.
“The next few games are going to be good tests,” he said. “That all starts with Ararat this week.”
The Burras will host Stawell the following round before coming up against the Horsham Demons.
Prior to the interleague break Minyip-Murtoa put in its most complete performance of the season in a round three win against the Saints.
Cameron said his side was still below where it wanted to be. “We need to keep working on the small things,” he said.
A young Rats side will be a different challenge for the Burras. “We know they like to play a short possession game,” Cameron said. “They are a young and fit side who will play on confidence so a good start is important.”
