Moyston hosts an annual event and Buangor has joined the calendar to give the Grampians region an extra event on the Victorian Yard Utility Farm Dog Association calendar.
More than 60 dogs have entered Saturday’s competition, with registrations now closed.
Registrations will be taken on the day but those entrants are not be eligible for prize money.
The event is at the Buangor Community Sports Centre from at 8am.
Treasurer Geoff Thomas said there would be food available for people to purchase.
“Breakfast and lunch will be available with entry open to the public to go and watch the dogs be put through their paces,” he said.
The event is expected to last into the afternoon with an open bar also available.
Mr Thomas said people could contact James Ridgway on 0428 815 228 for more information.
