Coach Terry Arnel expects his side to match up well against its Warrnambool opponents.
“We’re going have good numbers and everyone is excited to play a final game at City Oval,” he said. “The past couple of training sessions, we looked at how much improvement there has been.”
Over the first six rounds of the season the whole group has gelled together well and remained eager to work hard. Arnel said watching the ball skills improve had been particularly pleasing.
“Going into the competition we didn’t set any goals, we wanted to give as many girls as possible an opportunity to play football,” he said.
“Everyone has adapted to the game more and more as the season has progressed and enthusiasm has remained high. We will benefit from a diverse age group for seasons to come.”
