Dunmunkle branch members held a coffee party for CWA Association Day with a variety of tempting food, a display of members’ work and a raffle. Recently members also enjoyed a casserole lunch to which friends were invited. The food was delicious and we served sweets. Guest speaker was Jason Wright, Warracknabeal District band master. He offered to come to Minyip for the Carols or any Minyip event which would require a band.
Competition results: article of craft, Barbara Leith, Bev Peart; knitted beanie: Lorraine Krause, Barbara Leith; green arrangement: Lorraine Krause, Alys McQueen; flowering native: Norma Boschen, Marie Tobin; lucky door, visitor Bev Nitschke.
The branch’s next meeting is on August 23.
Members are reminded the August Central Wimmera group conference is on August 25 at Hopetoun.
