The Roos led at every change in the match before the premiership favourites scrambled over the line in the dying minutes.
“I’m not sure what happened, whether it was a mindset or something else,” Cameron said. “We certainly won’t be taking them lightly. They have a good mix of inside and outside players.”
Ben Miller, Elliot Braithwaite and Oliver Braithwaite will be important players for the Burras to curb the influence of. In recent weeks Minyip-Murtoa’s leaders, John Delahunty, Luke Chamberlain and Sam Winfield, have stepped up again.
With top spot on the ladder all but secured Cameron wants to go deep in finals. “With the grand final to be played at Dimboola it will be a good chance for us to get used to the ground,” he said.
