FIRE gutted a house at Miram last week.
Kaniva police Sergeant Darren Wright said emergency services were called to a house in Clarence Street about 11.30am on Wednesday.
“There was no one home at the time,” he said.
“The house was gutted.
“The fire was not suspicious. We believe it was to do with the fireplace and flues.
“Country Fire Authority fire investigators were in attendance.”
