Beulah members are reminded the change of date and venue for the October meeting to October 26 at the Beulah Hotel starting with lunch at midday, followed by the general and annual meetings.

CWA Victoria cooking committee chairwoman Mary Grant advises the CWA  Christmas Fare will be held at Umina on December 2.

There will be Christmas cooking tips master class held over three days – October 15, 21, and 22 from 9am-4pm – taking five people each day. 

Topics include making a traditional Christmas cake (1kg), shortbread, mince pies, a small pudding and food ideas for Christmas gifts.

Members are reminded that when they present baked cakes etc. for CWA Christmas Fare, they must be well wrapped and airtight, a list of all ingredients used and the membership number of the person who baked them must be attached to the articles.

Helpers to set up are required on December 1.
