Publicity officer Sonia Matthews said the Horsham Rotary Club sub-committee were ready for the gates to open on Saturday.
She said there were activities to be enjoyed by everyone. “Whether you’re an avid gardener or not, we have organised a range of activities to keep all types of people entertained,” she said.
Ms Matthews said children could build a native bee home with Horsham Urban Landcare. For the adults, she said there would be plenty of exhibits to explore.
“This year it is not just about the plants. There will be more exhibits than previous years,” she said.
Ms Matthews said Channel Nine Garden Guru’s Melissa King would also be speaking on both days. She said on Saturday Ms King would discuss spring gardening and on Sunday, vegetable gardening.
The festival will open from 9am to 5pm on Saturday and Sunday. Ms Matthews said entry was $6.
