Kaniva Agricultural Society president Amanda Munn said the day would start with a tractor pull and a truck show display at 10.30am.
She said a wood chop demonstration would get underway at noon and continue every 15 minutes until 4pm.
“We will host the Victorian under-21 state representatives, so everyone should come along and show their appreciation for the sport,” she said.
Returning for another year will be the Kaniva quick shear.
“It is always a very popular event and it will be followed by the Kaniva sheep races, which will be another addition to our ever increasing schedule,” she said.
The Salvation Army Band from Ingle Farm in Adelaide will provide musical entertainment at this year’s Kaniva Show.
Ms Munn said as usual the Kaniva Complex was thriving with a wide range of market stalls and displays on show.
She said children should keep their eyes open for Waldo the Great Magician.
Ms Munn said the Kaniva Hub opening would be at 6pm following the sheep races.
