Karen Gleeson led her Lake Bolac team to victory with a 47-7 win against Chalambar’s Bev Morrison.
The one-sided dominance in the rink proved to be the difference in the match, as Lake Bolac went on to record a 90 shots to 66 win to claim eight points to keep them in second.
Stawell Golf also had a big win on the scoreboard, topping the score in all three rinks against Aradale.
The 77 shots to 41 victory ensures Stawell Golf remains in the top four after getting all 12 points on offer for the match.
In the clash between the two Ararat VRI teams, it was the Red team which finished on top against the Green team to claim bragging rights at the club.
The Green team won the first two rinks and looked likely to take the points before Lorna Neil had a decisive 41 shots to 12 win in the third rink against Noelene Fratin to give the Red team the overall 78 shots to 60 win.
