The community barbecue on November 23 will be at the Warracknabeal Community Garden from noon to 1pm.
Council chief executive Ray Campling and health service acting chief executive Jo Martin will speak about how their organisations are supporting the White Ribbon campaign.
Mr Campling is a White Ribbon ambassador.
White Ribbon Day – also known as the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women – is on Saturday, November 25.
The national initiative encourages people to take an oath swearing never to commit, excuse or remain silent about violence against women.
Horsham will host its annual White Ribbon walk on November 24.
