After the first two sets it looked like the match might be close throughout, with both teams taking one set apiece.
However, it was not Drung South’s day, with Lawn winning 10 of the final 12 sets on their way to an emphatic win. Lawn won 11 sets and 113 games in total, to Drung South’s three sets and 65 games.
Callum Hayes was in solid form for Lawn throughout the day, winning his singles match against Logan Casey 9-3, as well as earning two doubles wins.
Elsewhere, second-placed Central Park hosted Homers in what was a competitive match.
Central Park took the victory with 10 sets and 102 games to Homers’ 4 sets and 92 games.
Central Park’s Brendan Nitschke had to retire after his first set, with his replacement Byron Lang winning both his singles and doubles sets.
Haven was also victorious on Saturday, seeing out Noradjuha in a close match.
Noradjuha would have been hopeful of registering their first win of the A Special season, winning four of the first sex sets.
However Haven bounced back emphatically, taking the match after securing six of the final eight sets.
Haven won the match with eight sets and 99 games to Noradjuha’s six sets and 88 games.
Telangatuk East forfeited its match against Brimpaen.
