The grade four teacher died earlier this year.
Junior school council co-ordinator Lauren Andrews said Mr Weir loved Movember, and would have loved seeing the school support the initiative.
She said the school organised ‘student versus teacher’ challenges throughout the month to raise money for the cause.
“From the start our goal was to raise $3500 and if we reached that target the students were allowed to decorate teachers’ mustaches with glitter,” she said.
Eight teachers were decorated with glitter at an assembly.
