A MAN has died after a car crash on Sunraysia Highway at Tempy on Sunday.

The man was travelling north towards Ouyen when his car left the Sunraysia Highway about 6.50pm.
Police media spokesperson Alex Day said the car left the highway and hit trees.
She said the man was the only person in the car.
He died on the way to hospital.
This takes the 2017 Victorian road toll to 229 compared with the 2016 road toll of 268.
