Numbers were strong and spirits were high as 68 golfers formed 17 teams of four to compete in the Christmas Ambrose event.
Brooksby, Dix, Delahunty and Wirth won when they finished 3.25 shots clear of Lynne Sargent, Noelene Jenkinson, Sue Galpin and Sally Hood.
The foursomes were drawn out of a hat prior to play starting at 8.30am.
While as always there was a focus on trying to shoot the lowest score there were a number of novelty prizes on offer including for the best decorated cart on course.
Annette Fechner won a prize for hitting the straightest drives and Maggie Smith struck the longest putt. Dorothy Adamson was closest to the Christmas tree.
The regular nearest to the pin prizes were also awarded.
Julie Wirth finished closest on the second hole, Barb Hawkins was the best on the fourth, Lorraine Melville landed close on the 11th and June Gross was the best on the 15th.
