The works on the Western and Wimmera highways will be completed in stages, and will cause some delays for drivers.
Work will start on the Western Highway between Wawunna Road and High Street North on Monday, and run until January 17.
Crews will start upgrades on the Wimmera Highway between Gardenia Street and Firebrace Street on January 18. This work is due to be completed the following day.
Work on the Wimmera Highway and Darlot Street roundabout is due to start on January 22 and run for three days.
A VicRoads spokesperson said short detours might be necessary in some cases to give freshly-laid asphalt time to cool.
They said speed restrictions and variable message boards would be placed at each work site during the upgrades, and for three days before work was due to start.
They said dates could change depending on the weather.
“VicRoads urges all drivers to take care when travelling through roadworks,” they said.
“We thank them for their patience while we undertake this important work on their behalf.”
VicRoads is also completing roadworks along two sections of the Western Highway between Horsham and Pimpinio.
Work is between Rules West Road and Drendels Road just out of Pimpinio, and between Pelchen Avenue and Polkemmet Road.
Reduced speed limits and lane closures are in place.
