She won the car in a Horsham East Rotary Club raffle.
Car raffle co-ordinator Zane Bell said the money raised would be used to help and support regional and oversees projects.
“Horsham East Rotary Club raised $11000 with an additional $1000 after selling the winning ticket,” he said.
“The tickets were sold by a small army of volunteers from September through to the end of December in 2017.”
Mr Bell said he was lucky enough to meet the raffle winner. “She was very excited to have won the new car,” he said.
Mr Bell said the raffle, which had run for many years, has raised more than $2 million for community groups.
“The Horsham East Rotary Club has been one of the largest fundraisers,” he said.
“The Community Assistance Car Raffle has been running for many years and is initiated by the Rotary Club of Ballarat South and is designed to give small not-for-profit clubs and community groups the opportunity to raise money.”
