Horsham Mayor Pam Clarke said it was a great opportunity for something different to complement the Horsham Town Hall space.
“I think we will need another cafe that services the facility,” she said.
“We want something that’s going to be complementary to the town hall and all the things that go on here.”
Cr Clarke said the restaurant previously occupying the dining space, Baa 3400, was the perfect fit for the town hall.
Baa 3400 has relocated to the International Hotel on Baillie Street, Horsham this week.
“It was what we wanted and needed in Horsham.
“It was something a little bit different and I think it really set things off for the complex,” Cr Clarke said.
“We’re just hoping now we get something different again – something that complements the facility as a whole.”
Cr Clarke said the dining space was located in a perfect position for people who wanted to have a drink or food before or after a show at the town hall.
