The side will come up against Pimpinio, who put in a solid effort against a strong Harrow-Balmoral side last week in round one.
Pimpinio coach Marnie Lehmann said her side would try its best to earn its first win of the season after a pleasing performance last week.
“We have started the season well and if we play how we played last week we can hopefully come away with our first win,” she said.
The two sides played two close games last season.
“It should be another good game,”Lehamnn said.
“We are so happy with last week considering we normally lose to Harrow-Balmoral by 40 goals. We only lost by 12, which was a pretty awesome effort.”
Swifts A Grade coach Courtney Morrow said she was excited to finally get her season off to a start.
“Starting a week behind the rest of the competition could hold us back a bit but with that extra week to train and our practice match against Stawell I think we are prepared,” she said.
“We will go out and play our own game – we won’t read much into Pimpinios’ result from last weekend.”
In other games at the weekend, Rupanyup will have a tough test when it comes against Natimuk United, while Kalkee and Edenhope-Apsley should be a close match up.
Jeparit-Rainbow will be looking for its second win against Noradjuha-Quantong, who will be hoping to bounce back after a disappointing loss last week.
Taylors Lake will face a challenge against Harrow-Balmoral at home, while Laharum will enjoy a week off this week with a bye.
