Wimmera Poultry Club to host 2018 poultry auction at Horsham Showgrounds

WIMMERA Poultry Club will host its biggest auction of the year on Sunday. 

The event will involve a large variety of poultry being sold at Horsham Showgrounds’ poultry shed from 10am.

The club’s show secretary Brendan Lloyd said there were more than 300 entries for the auction. 

“Viewing will start at 10am and the auction will start at 11am,” he said. 

“There will be show birds and backyard birds as well as others. 

“We have everyone covered – there is a bird for everyone.” 

Mr Lloyd said people from as far as Adelaide in South Australia and Wentworth in NSW woudl attend the event.

He said there was no entry fee for the auction. Bidding numbers are $2 each.
