THE former Horsham Butter Factory site has sold.
Wes Davidson Real Estate principal Wes Davidson led an auction for the historic property at 11 Harriett Street in Horsham on Friday morning.
About 20 people attended.
The property – which is in six titles and measures more than 4000 square metres – was passed in at the auction.
Mr Davidson said the property’s sale was negotiated after the auction.
He said details of the sale – including the purchase price – were remaining confidential at the buyer’s request.
The property includes a large building with a formal entrance that leads to a hall. The building has a commercial-grade kitchen, bar and restrooms.
It has been used for weddings, birthday parties and other functions, and has been home to Horsham Italian Club for decades. About 120 families were involved with the club at its peak.
The club plans to donate the money from the property’s sale to charity.
