The Storm led the game at every break, opening up a 37-point lead at the half.
Led by Ash Clugston, who kicked three majors, and captain Tyler Edelsten, who was named best on ground, the Storm continued to win the contest in the third term.
A few late goals from Laharum closed the gap to 33 points, with Storm coach Tim Inkster still hoping to see a four quarter performance from his side.
“It’s another win but it was similar to the last few games – okay in patches but not four quarters,” he said.
“Our effort was good for the first three quarters. We have a lot of new members trying to work out how to play with each other. That footy isn’t going to go far if we make finals, so we have heaps to work on.”
For the Demons, Gerard Matthews kicked three goals, while Cam Streeter kicked two and was named best on ground for the side.
