A SMALL fire at Wail this afternoon has been brought under control.

The fire occurred on a riverside reserve, about 10 kilometres west of Pimpinio.
Firefighters contained it to half a hectare.
Smoke from the fire could be seen from the Horsham central business district about 4.15pm but it soon cleared.
A Country Fire Authority District 17 spokesman said there was nothing suspicious about the fire.
