The side caused an upset against Kybybolite, coming from behind to win 13.10 (88) to 6.11 (47). The side scored 11 goals to two in the second half to claim a memorable win, with Shawn Mansell kicking six goals.
Border Districts coach Darrin Wilson said the win was great for the whole club.
“They are all pretty happy and they haven’t won two in a row for a while,” he said.
“When I left the clubrooms were still there, but I’m not sure what the state of them would be now. It’s been a long time coming. They are a good young group they just need some confidence and experience.
“The good thing with both these games is that we have come from behind to win.”
Meanwhile, Kaniva-Leeor United suffered its first loss of the season on Saturday, going down to Naracoorte by one goal, 11.11 (77) to 10.11 (71). The Cougars sit second on the ladder after six rounds.
