The rural access quick win grants are a one-off contribution open to communities in the Horsham Rural City municipality and the Hindmarsh, West Wimmera and Yarriambiack Shires.
Horsham Rural City Council’s community services director Kevin O’Brien said the aim of the grant was to foster inclusion of people with a disability.
“It’s essential our community groups continue to build their capacity and are inclusive and accessible to all our community,” he said.
Mr O’Brien said projects can include start-up seed funding for new programs, staff training, and small scale equipment required to improve inclusion.
Mr O’Brien said applications close on June 15.
