The 2017 program will be officially launched Friday night at the Horsham Regional Art Gallery.
This will be the 23rd year that the annual art and culture festival has been held in the Wimmera.
Horsham Town Hall marketing co-ordinator Charee Smith said the theme for this year’s festival was ‘Art Is… a Footprint’.
“This is the second year that the theme has been around making your mark,” she said.
“It’s about capturing your own voice through art and making your own interpretations of art.”
She said the festival program offered something for everyone.
“It’s 10 days of great artistic programs including visual arts, conversations, performing arts and art making,” she said.
“The festival’s longevity lies within its commitment to present and promote cultural diversity in the Wimmera community that is inclusive and fun.
“The program for this year’s festival really offers something for everyone; you don’t have to be an art lover to appreciate it.”
Highlights of this year’s program include the inaugural Dance Affair set to light up the town hall on June 1 and 2, and a performance from musicians Benny Walker and Alice Sky on June 9.
Ms Smith said people could head to the www.artiswimmera.com for more information and the full program guide.
The Art Is… Festival will kick off on June 1 and will run until June 10.
