The Inaugural Annual Dance Affair in Horsham Town Hall on June 1 and 2 combines theatre performance with audience participation.
Dance groups from across the Wimmera will be involved, with the event featuring everything from Irish dancing to ballet.
Horsham Town Hall marketing co-ordinator Charee Smith said the event would be fun and engaging for people young and old.
“This event will excite anyone who loved that old-time dance fun that the venue was renowned for, and is an opportunity to introduce a new era of community gathering to our region’s younger audience,” she said.
Performance collective Everybody NOW! created the dance affair concept.
The event – which includes a live band – forms part of Horsham’s Art Is… Festival.
Ms Smith said tickets were $25 for adults, $20 for concession, and $15 for children, and were available by calling 5382 9555 or visiting horshamtownhall.com.au.
