The FarmPlan21 course will be held at Lake Bolac Golf Club from 9.30am to 3pm on July 17, 24, and 31 and August 7, 14 and 21.
People will learn how to use free mapping software to develop a map of their farm.
The course guides farmers through the process of creating or updating a whole farm plan and setting realistic goals for their businesses.
Agriculture Victoria land management extension officer Heather Field said the workshops were designed to consider the needs and challenges of each individual business.
“The main aim of the course is to help participants identify strategies to improve the productivity and resilience of their farms,” she said.
Topics include vision and goal setting, soils and land capability, farm water supply, grazing and pasture management, and risk management.
