The committee representatives for Goroke are Sophie Walter, Hayley Rogers and Jordyn Lyall, for Edenhope are Braithyn Dodd, Kate Ellis and Georgia Baxter and for Kaniva are Patrick Munn and Remi King.
Sophie Walter said she hoped the committee can give youth a voice within the West Wimmera community.
“It will help bridge the gap between what we see as important issues in our communities compared to that of the older generation,” she said.
Georgia Baxter said she would like to introduce youth freezer events in each town of the shire, instead of just Kaniva.
