The Falcons defended well, even without star defenders Darderah Maw Kay, James Hibberd and Jeffrey Maasland, and won 1-0 courtesy of a Noah Talbot strike on the 35th minute.
The goal was created after a switch from Reuben Macchia to left-back Camilo Velasquez.
Velasquez found space on the flank before laying the ball back to July Htoo.
The three played the ball between themselves and found Talbot, who one-touch finished the ball into the bottom left-hand corner.
Berkay Demirkale and Elijah Macchia stood up to take the reins as centre backs and proved to be a well organised pair.
Velasquez and Mirza Demirkale supported in the full-back positions.
Reuben Macchia was Horsham’s best, he played as a box-to-box midfielder, created several chances and defended strongly.
