Warrack Eagles coach Ryan McKenzie knew his side could not afford to take Dimboola lightly.
“We weren’t in great form ourselves in the weekend so we need to make sure we turn up to play,” he said.
“Dimboola has been down towards the bottom for a couple of years but they’ve always managed to remain competitive against us.”
Jeremy Clayton will be unavailable for Warrack Eagles while McKenzie will have to wait to know the availability of exciting young forward Josh Bibby.
He said he would continue to back in Dane and Liam Stewart after the pair debuted against the Horsham Saints.
“They both fitted into the side really well and brought in a fair bit of leg speed,” he said.
“We’ll look to continue playing them for a while and give them every chance.”
