Storm players tasted their first defeat of the 2018 season in round nine, when Kalkee ran away with the game in the final quarter.
Storm coach Tim Inkster said Kurt Waterman, Tom Clugston, Tom Eichner and Simon Clugston will miss the game against the Rams, due to injury.
“We’re also not sure about Shane Maslin. It’s not ideal, their injuries are longer than short. A month will be the quickest return and hopefully not season ending for Kurt and Tom,” he said.
Inkster said Matthew Cozens had his first game back in reserves against the Kees after an injury early in the season showing promising signs.
“Matty Millward has been playing well and has got in the best for the twos a lot, so he’ll probably get his first game of the year,” he said.
Inkster said he expected the game against the Rams to be tough, especially at Natimuk.
Rams coach Sam Anson said his team looked worse for wear after the round nine clash against Laharum.
“We’re in a similar boat. From last weeks’ winning side we have six out,” he said.
Anson said Andrew Watson, Sean Sennar, Jake Rudolph, Jeremy Schmidt, Kyle Murray and Jaydon Stiles look shaky for the Rams, Storms contest.
“We do have depth this year in reserves and the under-17s, who are sitting on top. We have some depth we can choose from,” he said.
Anson said he wants his team to improve on its four-quarter performance.
