Current president and Murra Warra farmer David Jochinke is once again nominated for the role.
He is nominated alongside Echuca dairy farmer Craig Ash.
Nominees for VFF vice president are Mr Ash, Emma Germano, and current vice president, Brett Hosking.
Mr Jochinke said he was looking forward to seeing the results of the election.
“It’s a healthy thing that we have elections,” he said.
“It gives our members an opportunity to voice their views and let us know if they think we’re doing a good job.
“I’m glad to see a range of different people putting their hands up to take on roles.”
Elections for VFF are held every two years.
Mr Jochinke said he thought he’d done well to represent farmers during his presidency.
“I’ve always just wanted to represent farmers and I want to know whether they think I’ve done a good job,” he said.
“The industry has gone through some big changes, and the VFF has too.
“I hope my legacy will be that I’ve played a part in getting members more involved in the organisation and giving them a chance voice their views more.”
Candidate biographies will be available on the Victorian Farmers Federation website from June 25.
Members of VFF will be voting throughout July online, as well as at the Victorian Farmers Federation Annual Conference on July 19 and 20. Voting will be conducted electronically and through postal ballot for members without email contacts.
Ballots will be posted from July 2. Electronic voting will begin on July 9.
The Victorian Farmers Federation has also called for nominations for positions on the Workplace Relations Committee, Land Management Committee, Agricultural and Veterinary Chemicals Committee, and the Farm Business and Regional Development Committee.
The VFF Water Council are also calling for nominations for regional representatives for East Gippsland, Western, Central, Central North and Northern. Nominations are open until Wednesday July 4 and must be lodged with the returning officer.
