“Some games we’ve been out of the contest by half-time,” he said.
“We think if we stay in game for longer and play some good football we’re always a chance of stealing a win.”
A poor third quarter cost the Warrack Eagles deeply in round 10 and the side will need to work hard against the Tigers in order to regain some of the momentum it lost.
Bone said he hoped his young brigade of developing players would continue to learn while facing tough opponents such as Nick Peters.
“He is one of their prime movers,” he said.
“If we limit his impact it helps us a fair bit.
“Some of our younger players haven‘t had to develop that defensive side and playing against the best players is often the best way to learn.”
