The results come after clubs from the Horsham District Football Netball League, Wimmera Football League and Wimmera Netball Association met to discuss issues within the competitions and future directions in July 2017.
Population decline, volunteer workload, red tape and the difference between top and bottom teams were some of the main points voiced by club representatives at the first meeting.
Since that initial meeting with the clubs, the Southern Mallee Giants have swapped to the Wimmera league after a dominant two-year stint in the Horsham District league.
The senior side took several rounds to adapt to the style of the Wimmera league, but have recently notched some decent form and currently sit third on the ladder.
Representatives from all clubs are expected to attend Monday night’s meeting in Horsham.
