Another standout performance from shooters Michaela Armer and Jade Ralph (39 and 27 goals respectively) helped Swifts to a 66-47 win over the Tigers in round 12.
On a bitterly cold day at Pimpinio the Baggies were able to put in a strong four quarter effort for their seventh win of the season.
Their score off 66 is a season high for the Stawell-based team, previously with a top-score of 61 against Taylors Lake in round six.
“Our goalies shot really well all day which helped us score a fair bit,” Swifts coach Courtney Morrow said.

“Their accuracy had a flow on effect to how we performed the rest of the way down the court.
“We fought hard for four quarters.”
The Baggies remain in sixth but are level on points with both Harrow-Balmoral and Kalkee who sit above them. With only six rounds remaining, the Baggies are still two games clear of teams outside of the top six.
This weekend marked the return of mid-court player Heidi Lang. Lang is a crucial part of Swifts’ run at a finals berth.
“It is good to have Heidi back. She helps myself in centre keep the ball moving quickly to our goalies,” Morrow said.
“To have our full side playing together is great. It gives a chance to settle and find consistency.”
