HINDMARSH and Northern Grampians shires will share $28,700 towards two community-based projects.
Northern Grampians Shire Council will receive $18,7000 for the Recreation Futures in Northern Grampians.
Meanwhile, Hindmarsh Shire Council will receive $10,000 for Dimboola’s human powered vehicle event.
Member for Mallee Andrew Broad said the projects will bring great benefit to Dimboola, Stawell and St Arnaud and their surrounding communities.
He said the Dimboola’s human powered vehicle event was an innovative and exciting event for everyone in the community to attend.
Mr Broad said the money allocated towards the two community-based projects was a part of the federal government’s plan to ensure regional communities are supported.
