A 60-YEAR-OLD Glenorchy man was airlifted to hospital following a single car crash on the Western Highway, near Armstrong on Monday night.

A Victorian Police spokeswoman said police and emergency services were called to the incident at about 6.30pm.
“Witnesses have told police that the 60-year-old male driver appeared to veer slowly to the left before colliding with a tree,” she said.
“The Glenorchy man has been airlifted to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
“The investigation is ongoing.
“Anyone who witnessed the incident is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.”
